Scope and Contents Just About Me/Just About Us, Volumes I, II, III, are Bertrand Wilbur’s compiled memoirs. Volume II includes the period between 1894 and 1901, when Dr. Wilbur was employed by Sheldon Jackson Training School in Sitka. The volume includes significant content relating to Dr. Wilbur’s friendship with Rudolph Walton. Content Description

Most incidents and events in Alaska’s aviation history between 1929 and 1940 are covered in Jarman’s images. His detailed annotations include names of commercial and bush pilots and bush planes, World War II bombers, famous pilots and flights, passengers, aircraft information, airplane crashes, airlines, airports and hangars mainly around Southeast and remote Alaska but also in Washington State and Africa.

The collection contains slides of the Juneau area, ca. 1948-1972. It includes slides of the Juneau-Douglas area pre- and post- statehood, locations along the highway, celebrations, and hikes by the Shank, Ship and Shutter Club to trails, glaciers, and mountains in the Juneau area. Numbers in parentheses at the end of descriptions are Caroline Jensen’s numbers.

Scope and Contents

The papers include Marcus Jensen's correspondence, selected files from the Territorial Legislature, 1947-1955, and from his work on the Guide Licensing and Game Board, 1974-1990. Also included are Mamie Jensen's records of Douglas school and alumni activities. The papers donated in 1995 pertain to Guide Licensing, Guide Unit 4, D-2 hearings, and Subsistence.
