Scope and Contents
Just About Me/Just About Us, Volumes I, II, III, are Bertrand Wilbur’s compiled memoirs. Volume II includes the period between 1894 and 1901, when Dr. Wilbur was employed by Sheldon Jackson Training School in Sitka. The volume includes significant content relating to Dr. Wilbur’s friendship with Rudolph Walton. Rudolph Walton lived in “The Cottages” adjacent to the school campus, and became widely known as a master Tlingit artist.
Happy Days and Special Events of the Wilbur Family, 1898-1980 and Early Days in Sitka: a talk about Governor John Brady are also included in this collection.

The collection is unrestricted. This copy has been donated for research and historical purposes by Carolyn Wilbur Treadway on behalf of her father, the late Dr. Ross T. Wilbur, son of Dr. BK Wilbur.

Bertrand Kingsbury Wilbur was a medical missionary to Sitka, 1894-1901.

Volumes I, II, III were donated by Carolyn Wilbur Treadway, Bertrand K. Wilbur’s granddaughter. They are additions to the portion of the document Just About Me, previously held in the collection (see folder 2). Acc. # 2017-002.

The volumes I, II, III are the compiled work of Dr. Wilbur. They were scanned and provided to the library by the donor.
