The collection contains photographs from an album belonging to E. G. Riebe. The photographs depict various sights in a number of towns in Alaska such as Akiak, Bethel, Anchorage, Tanana, Cordova, Juneau, and Hollis.

The collection includes images of camp life as well as the visit in the summer of 1949 of Mrs. Rieck and her two children Charlotte and Gerald. Collection contains an illustrated narrative by Gerald Rieck.

Fish and Wildlife Protection News Clippings Scrapbook, 1964-1966 The scrapbook of newspaper clippings was assembled by Don Roberts during his tenure as enforcement officer for the Protection Division, Alaska Dept. of Fish and Game, from 1964-1966. The clippings are from the Anchorage Daily Times, Ketchikan Daily News, Sitka Sentinel, and Fairbanks Daily News-Miner, The clippings mostly relate to his work with the Alaska Dept. of Fish and Game.

A transcribed, typescript copy of the original letter is included in the collection. Letter sent from Sitka, Alaska, dated August 20, 1877, to "Gib", J. Gibson Winnen, in Philadelphia from Lt. Scope and Contents The papers consist mainly of Claus Rodine's letters home, describing his mining endeavors including the Galesburg-Alaska expedition, and life in Nome, from 1898 to approximately 1914. Other family correspondence is included. Picture postcards were organized with the photographs; by correspondent.
