P.H. Fox Family Photograph Collection, ca. 1890-1930s
Collection includes memorabilia (2 items), portraits, photographs of Juneau and Douglas people, government and social activities and scenics by various photographers (Ordway, Alaska Photo Co., Elite Studio), commercial and unidentified. The collection also includes a Camp Fire Girls certificate (1929), a Douglas High School diploma, 1928, and an image of Will Rogers and Wiley Post.
Bill Frame Photograph Collection, ca. 1912-1940
The collection contains views of tourists and touring cars from the early 20th century, hotels and roadhouses along the Fairbanks-Valdez Trail. Locations include Paxson, Gulkana, Copper Creek, Salchaket, Sourdough, Kenny Lake, McCarty, Meiers, Munson, Rapids and Youst. Also included are a few images of the Black Wolf Squadron. Most individuals and community businesses are identified.

This collection contains photographs, prints, paintings, and one sketch. Subjects include, but are not limited to, Alexander Dolgopolov, the Governor’s Mansion, and whaling ships. Dates range from 1848 to 1998.
The collection also contains framed and unframed posters which are available for loan.
Frederick Sargent papers, 1860-1906
This collection includes correspondence to and from Sargent and his family discussing daily life in Alaska, shipping, etc. Letter press book (ca. 100 pp.) regarding business at the Alaska Commercial Co., Fort Kodiak, 1868-1898. Records of fur trading with the Alaska Natives, weather, weather damage, provisions, interactions with surrounding inhabitants.
Charles E. Freeland Photograph Album
The photograph album includes 49 (because number 2 is missing) black and white photographs and a number of images clipped from magazines. The photographs depict mostly unidentified Southeast Alaskan towns including Wrangell, Sitka, Juneau and Haines. Many of the photographs are water views.
George Cox Friend Photograph Collection, circa 1898-1952
20 photographs showing Alaska mining claims of George Cox Friend. There is a newspaper article that tells the stories of some of the pre-gold rush Alaska sourdoughs, a letter to George Friend from D.E. Griffith asking for his early Alaska story, and an invitation to the reunion dinner of the Pioneers of Forty Mile, Alaska, 1922.
