W.J. Childs Diary, 1913
The W.J. Childs diary is a small black book with Northern Commercial Co. embossed on the front. In it he kept notes on daily activities and events for October and November of 1913. The diary also includes some names and addresses.
“China Joe” Papers, ca. 1917-2004
These materials were collected by Mark Whitman of Juneau, Alaska to aid in the creation of a stageplay script based on China Joe’s life. The collection contains the Legal documents filed by or for China Joe, one notebook of research pertaining to the life and death of China Joe, newspaper articles, and handwritten notes. Brett Dillingham of Juneau, Alaska also contributed.

Chititu Creek Mining Camp Photograph Collection, 1903
The Chititu Creek Mining Camp photograph album contains photographs of a Chititu Creek placer mining camp, the placer workings and the people who lived and worked there. This looks to be a family photograph album as it also has photographs of unknown families, their homes and their horses. There are also photos of 3 ship captains: Captain J.S. Moore, Captain T.D. McFarland and Captain F.M Moore. There is also an impressive picture of a woman shooting a pistol.

This collection contains 39 photographs of the Juneau, Alaska, area. They include area scenes and photos of the family and friends of Harrold and Thelma Clark. Patti Clark Lazarich, daughter of Harrold and Thelma, wrote a short reminiscence of the Crowell family of Juneau, Alaska. There is one CD with some of the photos on it.
