C. W. Amos Photograph Collection, 1944 1945
The photos were taken by C.W. Amos enroute to Cape Spencer and during the time he was stationed there as a Coast Guard radioman and weather observer. Photos include travel to the Cape Spencer Lighthouse, winter storms, accident off Five Finger Lighthouse, Christmas celebrations, other members of the lighthouse crew, and daily activities.

Harold and Helen honeymooned on the Pacific Coast Steamship Co. ship "Spokane"and collected postcards from the various stops on the route. This album of postcards, photographs, and steamship brochure clippings records their honeymoon trip through the Pacific Northwest, southeast Alaska, British Columbia and Alberta.

Loose photos, post cards and commercial albums of prints taken during construction of the Alcan Highway from 1942-1944. Photo prints of Anderson and others feeding wild bears that hung around the camp, photos around camp, some scenery and construction shots. 149 items. Some photos are described on verso. There are several commercial photos by Taylor and W.I.B.

Tom Anderson Photograph Collection, 1932
This collection contains black and white photographs and slides of Tom Anderson’s 1932 journey from San Francisco to the Kuskokwim River area in Alaska aboard the schooner Lottie Bennett. Many of the photographs were used in Tom Anderson’s book, Shiyak! published in 1987.
Also, included in this collection are black and white photographs from the San Francisco area related to the Wander Bird, ships around the Bay, and Bay bridge a-buildings.

Ed Andrews Photograph Collection, circa 1900-1936
On November 24, 1935, the Alaska Daily Press wrote that “Ed Andrews specialized in 12 x 20 photographs made from negatives of that size”. As a prominent Douglas photographer, Andrews distributed images to dealers all over Alaska. He also served as the official photographer for the Admiral Line, the Alaska Steamship Line, Copper River Railroad, White Pass and Yukon Railway and for Captain Sid Barrington, Stikine River navigator.
