Thane, Alaska. (1223 LHP) [Message on verso:] This is the mill. At the top is the coarse crushing mill. Halfway up is the mill proper. The building with a mark under it is where I work. The mine is 7 miles back and is reached by the electric r.r. Theres a 3 mile tunnel thru the mountain. There are two trams going up the hill. The longest 2200 ft.
