Livingston Copter taking position for transporting to safety three adventurers who had dropped into an 80-foot crevasse on Mendenhall Glacier, out of Juneau, Alaska. They were imprisoned over night in knee-deep ice water and would have perished, had it not been for the immediate availability of the copters. The Juneau Rescue Council members are pulling them up to the surface by ropes.
