Livingston Copter taking position for transporting to safety three adventurers who had dropped into an 80-foot crevasse on Mendenhall Glacier, out of Juneau, Alaska. They were imprisoned over night in knee-deep ice water and would have perished, had it not been for the immediate availability of the copters.
