Content Description Series I: This album belonged to Charles Carlton “Carl” Collen who was a cook/deckhand on board the Juneau boat Yakobi, ca. 1933. The U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey chartered the Yakobi to map and chart areas in the Bering Sea. They went as far as Icy Point, to the Diomede Islands, King Island, St. Lawrence Island, and the Aleutian Islands.
