Yngve Hedner U.S.S. “Surveyor” Correspondence, 1929-1935
Four letters written by Yngve Hedner 1929-1935 during his service with the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey on the U.S.S. Surveyor.
E. A. Hegg Glass Plate Collection, ca. 1900-1944
This collection contains glass plate negatives from which the positive glass plates were created. The lantern slides would have been created from the second generation positives which are part of this collection. The images on the plates depict ships and views of Nome and Unalaska.
The collection also includes a small number of photograph prints and one nitrate negative. The prints and negative portray people and places that are mostly unidentified.
Eric A. Hegg Photograph Collection, 1898-1913
Collection includes images of the gold rush era and scenes of the Chilkoot Trail, Chitina, Copper River, Skagway, and the White Pass & Yukon Route, particularly during the gold rush.
B. Frank Heintzleman Photograph Collection, 1939-1956
These 35mm color slides were collected by Mr. Heintzleman from the late 1930's to the mid 1950's. The collection includes images of Heintzleman and friends, Sitka, Juneau, Ketchikan, other Southeast Alaska communities, totem poles, Tlingit Indians, scenics and logging and timber industry activities.

Judson and Orlena Young Henderson Photograph Collection, 1940-1945
Images (slides and photographs) include military life at Seward during World War II, Alaskan landscapes, wildlife, fishing boats and Seward harbor, the Hendersons and acquaintances, Kenai, Matanuska Valley, Wasilla, Seward. The collection contains a leather album of 359 images, 242 color slides and 128 loose photographs and postcards. Also included are miscellaneous military papers and Judson Henderson’s autograph book.
Henry T. Allen papers, primarily related to the Copper River region military expedition in 1885 and personal correspondence, 1882-1927.
This collection includes letters, clippings, documents primarily concerning the Copper River region; correspondents include Jeanny Dorea Johnston, who became Henry T. Allen's wife in 1887, and Brigadier General Nelson A. Miles.
Henson Family Photograph Collection, 1898-1915
The collection includes residents, activities and a few scenic views of Treadwell and Douglas, Alaska, Alaska Treadwell Gold Mining Co., Alaska Mexican Gold Mining Co. Some are from commercial photographers including Edward Andrews and Case & Draper. The Henson home, Treadwell dining hall, stamp mills, bunkhouse and store are also included.
