The collection includes contracts, agreements, permits, correspondence, and certificates from the Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co., Hirst-Chichagoff Mining Co., the Perseverance Mine, and the Pacific Coast Steamship Co. Some of the original documents are housed with the Gastineau Channel Historical Society. Although the documents are in the 1903-1959 time period, the bulk of the collection is from 1912-1915.
