U.S. Army Alaska’s Bicentennial Pageant Photograph Collection, 1975
In 1975, the Alaskan 172nd Infantry Brigade in Anchorage commemorated the U.S. bicentennial. These photographs depict historical events from the Revolutionary War to the Vietnam War which were dramatized and narrated in the pageant., and the soldiers’ uniforms change according to the timeframe of each scene.

U.S. Bureau of Public Roads Photograph Collection, 1967
This collection of photographs records the damage done to Fairbanks and surrounding areas at the time of the Chena River flood in August of 1967. The river, which runs through the city of Fairbanks, flooded buildings, covered streets and damaged bridges. The Elliot and Steese Highways and the Chena Hot Springs Road sustained roadbed and bridge damage due to the flooding. A preliminary report, written by Gene O. Hanna is included with the photographs.
