              From the Collection:
             The collection portrays life in Nome, Alaska, during the early 1900s, including images of the sled dog races which began there. Original photographs from the Canadian Arctic Expedition, 1913-1918, identifies Northwest Territory Inuit from Coronation Gulf, Cape Bathurst, Dolphin and Union Straits, and Bernard Harbor.
