Scope and Contents
These card-mounted images record a trip taken in July and August of 1895 up the Inside Passage to Southeast Alaska communities including Ft. Wrangel, Ketchikan, Juneau and Sitka. The photographer is unknown and the name of the ship is unrecorded. Chief Annahootz's house in Sitka and Chief Kadashan’s house at Ft. Wrangel are depicted. There is one photograph of the waterfront and Native village at Juneau, now known as Willoughby Ave. The information below was transcribed from the verso of each photograph; supplied information appears in brackets.
