Biographical Note
This collection was donated to the Alaska State Museum by Keith Routley, Park Ranger, Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park, Seattle Unit. The State Museum then transferred it to the Alaska State Library Historical Collections. There is a note saying that the original donors were Gil and Barbara Frenette of Coquitlam, B.C. They donated the two albums to the Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park. There is another note in the albums: “Florence Blanchard - That was her name when she first moved up to Alaska. She married a “bush pilot.” He crashed somewhere in Alaska. Initial “N”.” It is possible that these albums belonged to Florence.
