Scope and Contents

A small album of black and white photos, circa 1919, loose b and w photos, and a few postcard pictures of a journey through B.C. and Southeast Alaska, White Pass, and Yukon Route. The album includes photographs of the Admiral Evans, the Alameda, the Admiral Wilson and some Yukon River steamboats. The photographer or collector is unknown. Alaska Scenes, Admiral Evans sailed 10 a.m., July 15, 1919

Vickie Hinson donated the scrapbook Alaska Scenes to the Alaska State Library Historical Collections May 20, 1993. (Acc. # 1994-013).

This collection has been described at the item level. Descriptions in the inventory for album photographs were taken from photo captions when available. Photos have been numbered. Loose photos have been placed in mylar sleeves and all items placed into pH-neutral folders.
