Immediate Source of Acquisition

The provenance for the 205 slides in this collection is uncertain but processing record notes speculate that the slides may have come either from the Auke Bay Fisheries Laboratory or the Petersburg Library via Ruth Sandvik. Accessioned September 20, 2001 (#2001-072.) (Paula Johnson, former librarian at the Alaska Fisheries Science Centers Auke Bay Laboratory, did not recognize the slides and did not think they came from the Auke Bay Fisheries Laboratory. 10/30/18 jas)

A count of 205 slides is noted and that 12 commercial slides were discarded.
