HISTORICAL NOTE
The Admiralty-Alaska Gold Mining Company acquired the mine in 1918. The mine is located on Admiralty Island in Funter Bay, Alaska. It was run by W.S. Pekovich.

ACQUISITION Note
The collection was donated by Randy Tavenner to the Alaska State Library Historical Collections and is accessioned as 2003-49. An addition of 6 original photographs mounted on cabinet cards was donated by Robert Bova in January, 2026 (Accession No. 2026-001).

This collection has been described at the item level. All items except the two ledgers have been placed in mylar and into pH-neutral folders.
