Biographical / Historical
Helen Oswalt and Wendell H. Oswalt were anthropology students at the University of Alaska who went to Hooper Bay in the summer of 1950; Helen collected linguistic data and Wendell's work was archaeological; they recorded general information and a few stories; data covers period from 1900 to 1950.
