Biographical Note
Dr. Ralph B. Williams was born in Salt Lake City Utah August 19, 1910 to Freeman Royal Williams and Laura Brown/Bullock. He married Ione Fallentine August 16, 1933. They had two daughters: Constance (Johnson) and Katherine.
Dr. Williams arrived in Juneau, Alaska on July 10, 1944 to take a position with the Territory as Director of Public Health Laboratories. He held this position until he retired in the late 1960s. By avocation he was a noted ornithologist, avid stamp and coin collector and photographer. He died October 5, 2001.
