Biographical
This collection of glass slides was the collection of Louis Thibodeau of Rumford, Maine. Mr. Thibodeau taught French at Stephens High School in Rumford and was an avid historian. An unknown person from that community traveled to Alaska in 1897, returning with these photographs. That man is thought to be pictured in image #6.
