ST. MARY'S - ANDREAFSKY – PITKA’S POINT 6-13-1975 [Per notes in Orth (1971) it appears the name was Andreafsky, but Post Office was later named Saint Mary's after the mission. Per Saint Mary’s City School District website: In 1967, St. Mary’s incorporated as a city, although the residents of Andreafsky chose to remain a separate community. In 1980, the two communities combined.] [Pitkas Point also spelled Pitka’s Point]
