GENESIS towed to port. It was the end of GENESIS’ fishing trip Aug. 9 when the boat ran aground in Icy Strait, west of Juneau. Station Juneau tows the 70-foot sportfisher to Auke Bay shortly after the vessel refloated itself at high tide the following day. The GENESIS, documented in Los Angeles, ran aground off Rocky Island. The Coast Guard Auxiliary vessel PUPPET responded to GENESIS’ call for assistance, picked up three of the boat’s passengers and transported them to Auke Bay.
