These files contain photographs, mostly black and white, and colored slides collected by Alexander Dolgopolov. The photos and slides are grouped into boxes by broad subject category and are then further subdivided into folders. Photographs on some topics, particularly those related to the Russian Revolution, have been included with the printed material on that topic in the manuscript section of the collection. This is indicated in the guide by the word "photographs" in the description of folder contents.
