This collection contains 42 photographs from a cruise ship trip through S.E. Alaska. There are images of the mansion and totems of Chief We He, tourists on Muir Glacier in Glacier Bay, several of towns and villages and ships passengers, Native life, and artifacts, Taku Glacier, Native Alaskans, fishing, totems, a Sitka cedar forest, Juneau, a Juneau Presbyterian Church, the Treadwell Gold Mine, Sitka Native Alaskans, a view of Sitka from the dock, 50 men on a cedar stump, tourists, Native games, a glacial stream, a coast survey steam ship in Yes Bay, and Eskimo dogs. The photographs in this collection date from 1890 through 1900 and are mounted on eight sheets of black cardboard.
