Alaska – Aug – 1916, the old town side of White Pass City on the White Pass & Y Ry.; the track can be seen going around the mountain at the left; this place is about half way between Skagway and the summit of White Pass and at the entrance to Dead Horse Gulch; it is said as high 10,000 people were here at times during the rush, now only a few old log cabins remain., 1916-08
