The photographs were taken by Dr. Krulish while he was working for the Bureau of Education in charge of public health services for Indians and Eskimos in Alaska. Although headquartered in Juneau, he traveled all over the Territory including the Arctic region. A few images by commercial photographs include: H. G. Kaiser and Moldt Studio
