Scope and Contents The photographs in the album were taken and postcards were collected during Joseph Silva’s Alaska trip taken around 1913. The collection also includes a few loose photographs. His trip on the steamer Port Townsend included various stops on the Inside Passage as well as Anchorage, Kodiak and other points north. Content Description The photographs include family members of the Simeonoff, Ponomarev, and Knagin families with genealogy dating back to the Russian American Company in the early 1800’s. The collection includes Southeast Alaska, the Sitka mission school and students. Locations are, primarily, Juneau and Sitka, views by Moosbauer, Reuben Albertstone, F. Jay Haynes and Y. Eaton of Native Photo. The photographs were taken primarily between 1890-1905.

Scope and Contents The following is a list of 478 glass plates made by H.C. Barley and other photographers between 1898 and 1915? which belonged to Paul Sincic of Douglas, Alaska. The glass plates were loaned to the library in September 1978 and copy negatives and prints were made from 186.
