Great grandfather of Helen Jane Simeonoff. Ivan Semenovich Semenov. Russian, born October 13, 1835, Kodiak, Alaska, died about 1897 in Kodiak. Retired soldier, 10th Squadron, 13th Russian Fleet. Ivan Semenov’s father was Stefan Semenov (born about 1795, died on May 5, 1840 in Kodiak, Alaska) who was Russian American Company employee stationed at Fort Ross, California.
