Brief manuscript by wireless operator C.R. Ferguson. The manuscript describes sailing a large windship along the Bering Sea coast in 1925. The Alaska Packers Association ship “Star of England,” took supplies and Chinese and Filipino laborers to canneries along the Bering Sea coast.

Biographical
In 1925 C.R. Ferguson sailed with the Alaska Packer’s Association ship “Star of England” as the wireless operator. The ship took supplies and laborers to canneries along the Bering Sea coast.
