Scope and Contents
Alaska-Yukon Trips, 1962, 1966 : The black and white photographs were taken by Wilson D. Ellis of Berkeley. They document two tours of Alaska, Vancouver, and the Yukon Territory. The 1966 tour was taken by the Travel Club of Southern California. There are images of southeast communities as well as Fairbanks, Anchorage, Skagway, Yakutat, and Whitehorse, B.C. Many of the photos are captioned and some club members are identified.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
The collection was transferred from the Berkeley Historical Society, Berkeley, California, in January of 1991. The collection was accessioned from the backlog in 2002. Acc. No. 2002-10.

Processing Information
The photographs were removed from three vinyl albums and sleeved in Mylar. The organization was retained. Subjects, locations, and people have been identified within each folder. 15 rolls of 35mm photograph negatives related to this collection (5 rolls 1962, 10 rolls 1966) were stored in a box and placed in room 227A in the vault (Acc. #1991-004).
