Scope and Contents

The ten photographs depict mining in Juneau and in the Kougarok District north of Nome on the Seward Peninsula and highway construction in Alaska. Several feature various Caterpillar heavy machines. In addition there is a picture of the rookeries of the Pribilof Islands and the Mendenhall Glacier. Some photographs are dated.
