Historical
The collection documents the history and progress of the “setting aside of land for the area by the Mendenhall River called Brotherhood Bridge Park.” The Juneau Parks Society, Inc. was a group of people in the greater Juneau area who, with the assistance of The Nature Conservancy, Western Regional Office, were successful in establishing the Brotherhood Bridge area as a park. The materials were collected and donated by Marilyn Miller, a member of the Juneau Parks Society, Inc., in 2004. (Acc. no. 2004-9)
Processing Information
The original order of the records, primarily chronological, was retained according to an inventory provided by the donor. Documents were numbered and housed in acid-free containers. Photographs were grouped at the end of the collection.
