Request for permission to publish or reproduce material from the collection should be discussed with the Librarian. Agreement of use forms were signed between interviewees and the San Francisco Maritime Museum, delegating all rights and interests in the interviews to the museum. The museum grants permission to publish excerpts with proper credit given to the museum and written permission obtained from the museum. There may also be a fee charged by the museum for preparing transcripts.
