Biographical
Scott C. Bone, the 10th Territorial Governor of Alaska, was appointed by President Warren Harding, June, 1921 until Aug., 1925.
Governor Bone and his wife Mary Worth Bone had 7 children. Marguerite was the youngest of the seven children born to Scott and Mary Bone.
The Bone’s son, Carroll Bone lived in New York City and Los Angeles where he was pursuing a music (voice) career.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
Folders 1 - 5 were donated by Michael Burwell in February 2006 (Acc. #2006-004). Folders 6 - 14 were donated by Candace Waugaman in June 2004 and March and June 2007 (Acc. #2004-018).
Processing Information
Original order was maintained. Some letters were flattened and placed in acetate sleeves and acid free folders.
