Scope and Contents
This collection contains 39 photographs of the Juneau, Alaska, area. They include area scenes and photos of the family and friends of Harrold and Thelma Clark. Patti Clark Lazarich, daughter of Harrold and Thelma, wrote a short reminiscence of the Crowell family of Juneau, Alaska. There is one CD with some of the photos on it.

Biographical / Historical
Harrold and Thelma Clark lived in Juneau, Alaska, with their daughter Patti Clark Lazarich in the 1930s and until their deaths. They are buried in Juneau.
Patti Clark Lazarich wrote a short history of the house that Fred Crowell and family lived in in downtown Juneau with anecdotes about the family. He died in 1949 at age 71, and Mae died in 1964 at age 78. They are both buried in Evergreen Cemetery in the Elks plot. Before moving to Juneau, Fred and Mae Crowell had a fox farm on a nearby island where they lived with their daughter Mickey Crowell Wagner until she was 6 years old. [Mickey Crowell was aboard the fishing boat “Sunmore” destroyed in a Tsunami in Lituya Bay during an earthquake. She and her husband Orville Wagner, of Idaho Inlet both lost their lives.]
