Scope and Contents
The Grant H. Pearson manuscript, titled They’re All Gone Now, is a history of the first sourdoughs in the Kantishna, Alaska Mining District. There are biographies and detailed stories about some of the people who lived and worked in the Kantishna mining district. There is also a history of the first people to climb Mt. McKinley starting with the James Wickersham group in 1903 and the Lloyd group in 1910.
