Kenneth Chisholm papers
Scope and Contents
These papers include some writings of Kenneth Chisholm on his Alaska experiences, Alaska material collected by him including a census of King Island in 1938 and weather reports of the area; also copies of reports of Alaska and Siberian villages in 1937 by Lt. Commander R. C. Sarratt of the Revenue Cutter Northland.
Letters received by Kenneth Chisholm from 1938 1939 are from his future wife, Lucile, and other letters document his efforts to locate employment.

Biographical
Between 1930 and 1938, Kenneth Chisholm was one of the university students from Santa Clara University who accompanied Father Hubbard on his expeditions exploring and photographing Alaska. Trips included the Aniakchak River area after leaving Chignik in 1930, 1935 to Taku Glacier area, 1937 - 1938 King Island and Arctic Villages .
