Immediate Source of Acquisition
The collection began with 6 menus donated Jan. 19, 1982, by Mr. E.F. (“Ed”) Charlesworth of Seattle in the name of his father, A.E. Charlesworth and brother, A.W. Charlesworth who were stewards with the Alaska Steamship Co. Another donation was received in 1993 from Patricia Cason, transferred from the Sheldon Jackson Museum in Sitka. A donation was received from Ethel Meyer in December 2017. The collection is ongoing.
Processing Information
Some items are sleeved in Mylar. The collection is housed in acid free storage.
