Mary Ann Little Bear Leberg Photograph Collection
Scope and Contents
Photographic prints in a small leather bound photograph album and 34 separate black and white photographs of Wrangell, Ketchikan, Sitka and Cordova. The separate photos are mostly of the Wrangell area. The large river may be the Stikine River. Most of the photographs are undated, but two are dated 1930 and 1939. There are several commercial photographs, but the photographer of the personal photos is unknown.

Acquisition Note
The collection was donated to the Historical Society of Seattle and King County by Mary Ann Little Bear Leberg, and transferred to the Alaska State Library Historical Collections June 15, 1990. Accession number: 1990-034.
Separated Materials
An 8x10 photograph has been added to the Core File: Wrangell-Early-52. Holograph note on verso says: To Dad, Christmas, 1928 - From Faye [?] in the land of "Ships that never come in." Mt. Dewey. "Elephants Nose" of Warrenoffsky Island facing Wrangell across Etolyn Bay. [N W S E denoted on edges of verso on left, top, right, and bottom]

This collection has been described at the item level. Album pages inter-leaved with tissue paper; album placed in mylar. Loose photos placed in mylar, pH-neutral folders, and archival boxes.
