The work is an autobiography which details Campbell’s fur trade work with the Hudson’s Bay Company at Fort Garry, Fort Simpson (MacKenzie River District), Tlingit and Chilkat Indians, Stikine River and Fort Yukon. Includes introduction on origin of journals by John W. Todd, Jr.
