Includes list of teachers in Juneau schools, 1885-1945 as taken from the newspapers, Douglas teachers and enrollments, 1887-1902, teachers and enrollment for Juneau Seventh Day Adventist School, 1959-1973, photos of schools, and information on school events; Section I, Juneau City Schools, 1885-1945, is largely based on the unpublished History of the Juneau Public Schools by A.B. Phillips, superintendent of Juneau Public Schools from 1934-1947.
