Scope and Contents
Per Steve Henrikson, Curator, Alaska State Museum 2/1996: 75. Tlingit artifacts. Tlingit artifacts collected by Lt. George T. Emmons and sold to the American Museum of Natural History, New York, where it still resides. Included in the photograph are bentwood boxes, bowls, aprons, masks, shamans grave guardian figures, and a beaver bowl from Angoon (AMNH cat. #19/1257), which probably came from the Deisheetaan clan.
