Scope and Contents

The two houses stood on the lot now occupied by the Mullen House. The Upper house, originally owned by Henry Hile, served as the first Governor's House in Juneau, occupied by Governor Hoggatt in 1906. The lower, smaller building was occupied by Hoggatt as executive offices.
